Important

Pre-launch: nothing is sold here

Thrivos has not launched and nothing is sold on this website. Because we do not take orders or payments, we do not collect payment card, bank or billing information.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Thrivos ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and shares personal information through thrivosenergy.com (the "Site"). Questions? Email calder@redlacmedia.com.

2. Information we collect

  • Email address: if you choose to join our email list, we collect the email address you enter.
  • Server logs: our hosting provider, Netlify, automatically records standard server log information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and timestamps.
  • Correspondence: if you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include.

3. How we use information

  • To send you emails about Thrivos, such as launch news and updates you signed up for.
  • To operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site, and to prevent abuse.
  • To respond to your requests and messages.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal bases (EEA and UK)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal information on these legal bases:

  • Consent: to send you marketing emails you signed up for. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legitimate interests: to operate, secure and improve the Site.
  • Legal obligation: where we must process information to comply with the law.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with:

  • Hosting provider: Netlify hosts the Site and processes server log information on our behalf.
  • Email service provider: when our email list is connected, an email service provider will store your email address and send our emails, acting as our processor under our instructions.
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Thrivos, our users or others.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

6. Third-party resources

The Site loads fonts and code libraries from third-party networks (Google Fonts and jsDelivr). When your browser requests these files, those providers may receive your IP address and browser information under their own privacy policies.

7. Cookies, Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

The Site does not set its own advertising or tracking cookies. We honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals: when we detect them, we treat them as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information, although we do not sell or share it in the first place.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete your information;
  • receive a portable copy of your information;
  • opt out of marketing emails, and of any sale, sharing or targeted advertising; and
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that happened before.

To make a request, email calder@redlacmedia.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

9. California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

In the past 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (such as email address and IP address) and internet or other electronic network activity (such as browser type, pages requested and timestamps from server logs). We collect them from you and from your device, for the purposes described in Section 3.

We do not sell or share personal information, and we have not done so in the past 12 months. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information.

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; the right to delete it; and the right to correct it. To exercise these rights, email calder@redlacmedia.com.

Non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.

Authorized agents: you may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may ask the agent for proof of your written permission and ask you to verify your identity directly.

10. EU and UK privacy rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise them, email calder@redlacmedia.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

11. Other U.S. state privacy laws

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, such as Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas and Oregon, may have rights similar to those above, including the rights to access, correct, delete and obtain a copy of personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale or profiling. Email calder@redlacmedia.com to make a request.

12. Appeals

If we decline to act on your privacy request, you may appeal by emailing calder@redlacmedia.com with "Privacy appeal" in the subject line. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may contact your state attorney general.

13. Data retention and security

We keep your email address while you remain subscribed and for a reasonable period afterward to honor your preferences and meet legal obligations. Server logs are retained according to our hosting provider's standard practices. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

14. International transfers

We are based in the United States, and personal information is processed and stored in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

15. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, or under 16 in the EEA and UK, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us information, email calder@redlacmedia.com.

16. How to unsubscribe

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email, or by emailing calder@redlacmedia.com.

17. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when it last changed. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
